I remember waking up and coming downstairs and there was sunlight coming into the kitchen and I walked in there and my mom told me. I started to cry and mom had tears in her eyes and my grandma cried too.

Little did we all know that 10 years later there would still be controversy over what actually happened – the current inquest is still not discussing certain evidence and issues that have been raised over the last 7 years – Mr Andansan’s death for example.

Watching that’s made me cry. I was 8 years old and on holiday in Holland and I think we were already awake or we got a phone call from someone. I just remember Martin Lewis on TV saying what had happened and just being in shock. So saddening. And I agree with the person saying how difficult it must have been for him to keep announcing Diana’s death. RIP xx

I’m wondering if the camera flashes from the guys on the motorcycles blinded the driver and ultimately caused him to lose control of the car.

To be honest, it was her fault she died, she WASN’T wearing a seatbelt. Yes, it’s very sadenning, but I’m shocked she didn’t wear a seatbelt…
