Hmm…I think there are definite differences. In a very early ETN interview, Yong-hwa described himself as someone whose liveliness and mischief had been somewhat tempered by playing Shin-woo. So now he is a cross between his old-self (lively, mischievous, funny) and Shin-woo hyung (calm, mature). His bandmates also voted him as the one who sulks easily the most and gets grouchy when hunger strikes, LOL. Isn’t Seo-hyun more reserved, self-possessed, and very disciplined kind of person?

It’s said that Yong-hwa can talk well and pretty affable (like an ahjumma, some joked). So while he’s not talkative (at least not compared to Hong-ki), he’s not quiet either, so I think he’ll talk more than Seo-hyun — who said she wasn’t the type to talk much — will. Maybe that’s why they paired her up with Yong-hwa? I think SNSD’s manager said WGM was an opportunity to show that there were other sides to Seo-hyun aside from her innocent girl and good student image.

I think YH will find SH (including her eccentricities) “very cute” — if the rumors are true. But I’m curious as to what SH will think about him. YH might prefer to act impishly goofy or playful — usually by poking fun at people (including himself) or bantering. Out of all his bandmates, he may be the most likely to sulk. BUT YH def. knows how and when to be serious, calm, and mature (and it helps he’s becoming a good speaker). I hope this is the kind of balance SH will be fine with! ^^

ETA: Although, now that I think about it, YH is actually pretty disciplined himself (at least when it comes to his work and duties)… I guess there’s a similarity right there.
