Woz Presents the Apple Historical Museum

Steve Wozniak, the inventor of the personal computer, provides us with a tour of historical Apple II products. An absolutely classic video clip from my video collection. This was on my Apple iic rollout VHS tape, from 1984. Please visit www.woz.org for more information on the incredible Steve Wozniak. Also, make sure you check out his new book, “iwoz”. And don’t forget to watch past the end credits. More to come! – Alfred PS: This segment was posted with permission by Steve Wozniak.

Enjoy!!

My Apple II’s still work and I have a few of the Apple II+’s, an Apple IIe and an Apple IIgs.

All work fine, with the exception of a few disk drives that are out of alignment….but they will still boot up some 30+years later.

I hate how few people know who Woz is when he did all the hard work. Jobs just sold it and gets all the credit. YOU GO WOZ!

THAT’S COOL! I’m not a geek, but I’m kind of a history buff and a new apple convert, so it’s cool to see this kind of stuff. Please show more!

I’m not an Apple ‘follower’ in the sense of religious styled fans, but I have to say, the history of Apple computers is the only one that really grips me and is interesting. Maybe because they had set models due to building software and putting together the hardware. Not a mish mash of components that we know today due to MS’s licensing tactic.

I like how when Woz says, “We did this” he really means He did it. Truly an engineering genius

according to Jobs, Chuck Peddle and other great men of the period, he was a mediocre hardware man but a good programmer.
